Our Story at Waldvogel’s Farm
Waldvogel’s Farm is owned and operated by Phil & Debbie Waldvogel and family.
Phil was born and raised on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin but was always interested in the production and growing of different crops.
Debbie was born in the city of Antigo and graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in Business Education.
Phil and Debbie were married in 1973, and in 1977 relocated to their present location in Dodge County where they began growing field corn and soybeans.
Phil noticed that this was also an excellent area for growing sweet corn, and they opened a small roadside market offering “pick your own” and growing about 15 different crops. Over the years, the market has expanded several times.
As their children, Julie, Kevin, and Mike, entered preschool, they began to offer school tours to the pumpkin patch. Over the years this has grown
into their Fall Festival and become the busiest time of year for them. Although the Waldvogel’s Farm is oftentimes referred to as “The Pumpkin Farm”, pumpkins are only a small part of what they have to offer.
During the summer months, Waldvogel’s Farm has several road-side stands throughout the area where they have home-grown sweetcorn, tomatoes and other
produce available for sale. The real fun starts in the fall when they open their Fall Family Fun Festival. With over 50 attractions, fall produce, baked items from their on-farm bakery, fall hayrides, Waldvogel’s Farm has become one of the premier fall family fun destinations in Wisconsin.
Although their children are now grown, they continue to help on the farm when they can. Julie, a graduate of Ripon College and UW-Milwaukee, now works at Moraine Park Technical College as a Director of Enrollment Management. Julie married Luke Leitner, a Student Life Assistant at Fox Valley Tech College.
Kevin, married Eileen Waldvogel in April 2018, is a graduate of UW Stout with a Graphics Computer Management Degree. He works in sales, and lives in the Pewaukee area.
Mike is also a graduate of UW Stout with a Marketing and Business Education degree. He is an online teacher and helps out with the farm business.
